Useful information
Practical information to help you plan your international shipment.
Sea freight: FCL or LCL?
FCL reserves a full container. LCL shares container space with other shipments. The right choice depends on volume, weight, packaging and delivery timing. Send your packed dimensions, gross weight and cargo-ready date so we can compare suitable options.
Regular imports. One view of your deliveries.
When working with several suppliers, individual shipments need a coordinated plan. BML can include supplier collection, consolidation, sea freight and onward delivery in a tailored quotation. Availability and schedules are confirmed for each trade lane.
How your shipment moves
1. Share the route, commodity and cargo dimensions. 2. We clarify the scope and prepare a quotation. 3. After confirmation, we coordinate booking, loading and documentation. 4. Follow the milestones through to the agreed final delivery.
Equipment matched to your cargo
20′ / 40′ Standard: general dry cargo. High Cube: additional internal height. Reefer: temperature-sensitive goods. Open Top / Flat Rack: options for certain non-standard loads. Equipment, payload and availability are checked before booking.

Frequently asked questions
Is ETA a guaranteed delivery date?
No. ETA is an estimated arrival at a specific milestone, such as the discharge port. Final delivery also depends on release, customs clearance and inland transport.
What is included in the price?
The quotation defines the transport legs, handling, documents and applicable services. Duties, taxes, storage and other additional charges should not be assumed included unless expressly stated.
Which customs documents are needed?
A commercial invoice and packing list are common starting points. The transport document, EORI and further evidence depend on the commodity, procedure and countries involved. This is an indicative checklist.
How is container free time determined?
Free time, demurrage, detention and terminal storage depend on carrier and terminal terms. Applicable conditions must be confirmed for the individual shipment; there is no universal allowance.
