Multimodal transport
Combine sea, road, rail or air where it suits the shipment.

SPECIALISED LOGISTICS
Multimodal, rail and project cargo, planned around your load.
EXPLORE ↓Some shipments do not fit a single mode or a standard loading profile. We assess the route, handling requirements and handovers before building a coordinated transport proposal.
For non-standard cargo, the useful work starts before a vehicle is booked. We assess the loaded dimensions, access, handling and transport stages with the relevant specialists to develop a practical movement plan.
Combine sea, road, rail or air where it suits the shipment.
Assess rail routing and the road connections at origin and destination.
Plan around unusual dimensions, weights, equipment and site access.
Coordinate customs requirements and specialist handling within the transport plan.
Cargo drawings or photographs, exact dimensions and weights, lifting points, origin and destination, and the required schedule.
PLAN MY SHIPMENT ↗Provide exact transport dimensions and weight, photographs or drawings, centre of gravity and lifting points where available. Add collection and delivery locations, site access details, available lifting equipment and the required schedule.
Requirements depend on the cargo, vehicle combination and route. We coordinate assessment with the relevant specialists. Surveys, permits, escorts and lifting operations are included only when specified and confirmed in the movement plan.
The assessment considers loaded dimensions, axle loading, centre of gravity, access and handling. A low-bed trailer or a combination of road, rail and sea may be appropriate. Equipment and routing are selected after the technical details have been reviewed.
As early as practical. Route and site checks, equipment availability and any permits or escorts can affect the preparation time. There is no single lead time for every project; the schedule is assessed for the actual movement.
It should not be assumed. Bridges, clearances, turning space, road restrictions and site access can constrain the route. The proposed route must be assessed against the loaded vehicle and cargo before the movement is confirmed.
